The Penumbral Lunar Eclipse and Full Moon in Libra shed light on our energetic wounds both in our hearts and in our relationship to others and ourselves.  This powerful day allow us to purge these feelings of judgement on ourselves and start fresh.

I was fortunate to be sitting on the beach in Costa Rica to view the Penumbral Lunar Eclipse.  There were some dark clouds rolling through the sky that blocked the moon and then suddenly the moon illuminated the sky from behind the cloud and then the entire sky.  The gentle sound of the waves crashing and the site of the moon lighting up the sky were quite majestic.

During the day leading up to the eclipse, I began having a strange pain in my stomach that escalated as the day went on.  I was barely able to get through the eclipse and spent the rest of the night heaving up my insides, from the details I will happily spare you.  By the time morning came, literally there was nothing left inside of me.

On the single day that this eclipse and full moon are meant to shed light on things we’ve been holding in, in both our relationship with ourselves and with others, I don’t think it is a coincidence that I purged my entire insides.

Take this time to ask yourself, what have you been holding on to that you need to purge?
